Throughout our ambitious extension and remodelling project Andy was constant source of expert advice and calm reassurance. He completed the drawings and structural calculations with outstanding precision and detail, drawing numerous positive comments from our builders and building control officer and he worked extremely effectively with both. As glad as we were to have such a technically excellent architect, what really made the project was Andy’s thoughtful insight and design appraisal, finding a way to make our visions achievable. He provided brilliant solutions and greatly improved on several ideas we had from extending the upper storey to full capacity, installation of numerous Velux roof windows, a sun tube and a Juliett balcony. Most pleasing of all was the creation of a beautiful partial attic conversion for a split-level mezzanine floor in our teenage daughter’s bedroom. We are enormously grateful to Andy for all his expert wisdom and guidance throughout the project and turning our dreams into a wonderful reality. We would highly recommend Andy to anyone embarking on any building project and assure them they are in good hands.

We had a small project that needed designing and Andy took as much care and attention as if it was a full scale remodel. Throughout all of the design process Andy discussed requirements with me, and where I was unsure or hadn't thought of a particular requirement he offered options with the detail behind it. We were also able to iterate during the design phase in order to get to the right solution and he also pushed through completion quickly in order to get it submitted before the costs went up. We plan to do a much larger extension in a few years times and will definitely look to use Andy again.
